320 Clock Hours Program
The 320-hour program will allow you to fully master all electroepilation techniques and prepare you to start your private practice in an unlicensed state or work with a Master Electrologist upon completion. The 320-hour program is a requirement to be considered for employment at Pure Electrolysis as a licensed Electrologist.
Online Theory & Home Study
When the Theory Payment is paid in full, students will receive access to the online home study program. You may begin right away and go at your own pace to read, study, take quizzes, and tests. A final score of 75% must be reached on each quiz to be considered passing and move to the next module. The theory accounts for 140 hours of the 320-hour program.
Practical Study & Training
The practical portion of your training will be completed on site at Pure Electrolysis in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Once the Theory portion is completed with passing grades, the practical portion can begin. Instructors will work with Students to come up with a flexible schedule for the practical training. At the first meeting, Students will receive their Lab Kits, Student Handbook, and go over all aspects of hands-on training. Students will be expected to keep a timecard to track insertion hours. Insertion hours are the number of hours Students perform actual insertions. PIE requires a minimum of 150 insertion hours for completion and graduation of the 320-hour program.
For Students without prior proven electrolysis experience, no face work will be done until 40 insertion hours have been met or upon approval by their Instructor. Students will work on themselves, other students, instructors, and models to obtain their insertion hours. All portions of practical training will be continuously monitored and graded by Instructors, including but not limited to, ethics, sanitation, execution of all rules and expectations, and execution of treatment on various areas of the body.
A final practical exam will be required for Student’s nearing completion of hours.
600-hour courses are also available by request for licensed states requiring more hours.
